Who we are

These stores are trading names of Conor McCormack.

Registered address: Argent House, 5 Goldington Road, Goldington, Bedford, MK40 3JY

Contact: support@nothingspecialco.co.uk

What we collect and why

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address and, if you give one, a phone number. We need these to take the order, to have it made and shipped and to contact you if something goes wrong. The lawful basis is performance of the contract you entered into.

We record the pages you look at on our stores and whether you reached the checkout. This is kept against a random identifier stored in your browser, not against your name and only once you have accepted it.

Your payment card details never reach us. Payment is handled by our payment processor, who sends us only the fact that a payment succeeded and a reference for it.

Who your details are shared with

Your name and delivery address are passed to the production partner who makes and ships your order and to the carrier who delivers it. They cannot use your details for anything else.

Our payment processor and our email provider process data on our behalf under contract.

Some of our production partners are outside the UK and EU. Where that is so, the transfer is made under the standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your details to anybody and we never will.

Marketing

If you have bought from us we may email you about related products. You can stop that at any time by replying with the word stop, or by using the link in any message and we will act on it immediately rather than after the next send.

We do not email people who have not bought from us, except where they gave us their address at a checkout they did not finish and asked to be reminded.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw them. Browsing records are kept for two years.

An erasure request removes everything we are not legally required to keep and the remainder is restricted so it is used only for the accounting purpose that requires it.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it for marketing. You can do all of this from the order tracking page using your order number and email address and we will answer within one month.

If you think we have handled your details badly, you can complain to the supervisory authority in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office. We would rather you told us first.
